High Key with Taasi and Christopher

Today was sort of a lazy day! It started out by heading to edit photos from yesterdays engagement photos. The pictures came out so wonderfully. I can't wait to have them all done so that I can show them! There are a lot of keepers though so it may take a few days for them to be ready.

After doing some editing and printing, I spent a few hours shooting some of my friends. Things went great, they were really fun to work with! I love working with people who are willing to work with me to get a great image. First I started out by just shooting Taasi in an adorable white dress and we did a few different poses. Then Chris came in and we did some "engagement photos". They are not engaged or even dating but they did so great at keeping it looking natural! I am so blessed to have such great friends!

Alix Ackerman & Sam Johnson's Engagement Photos

Hello again,

Today I got to shoot an extremely adorable couple! They were great and were willing to try whatever I threw their way!! I am really happy with how the pictures came out. It was below 20 degrees out all day and they still kept smiling and laughing, which was great. Thank you both so much, it was great to work with both of you!

To start off the shoot, we went to a beautiful bridge overlooking the Connecticut river. It was freezing but the couple jumped right into

 things with some great pictures. After that we

 walked around the little cottage and found some great spots to shoot at. Once we were all freezing cold we hopped back in to the car my assistant Amber had kept warm for us. We then drove to greenfield, ending up at the Energy Park. There was an adorable train that they posed on and the images came out great. After that we walked to a tunnel and t

lly. I now have a lot of editing to do but here is a sneak peak on what the pictures came out looking like!!

Tomorrow will bring a day or relaxing shooting in the studio with some friends...I will be sure to post some pictures tomorrow!

My First Blog

After putting it off for months, I have decided it is finally time to start my blog. I don't even know where to begin when writing since I really have zero followers yet I figured there is no time better than now to start. 

At the moment I am spending my Monday scouting out locations for an engagement photo session with a sister of a very good family friend. I am very excited and have been researching for awhile now and feel confident about how tomorrow will go. It has just snowed so it is already beautiful out and the couple looks wonderful so it really should be a fun time. I will be sure to post pictures very so
